Makayla and her Helmet

Makayla just loves her Tricyle. But what she is really excited about is her new helmet. When she 1st got it she put it on and wore it almost all day. We went to the park that day and she still had it on. As parents, we were concerned that every one there was going to think our little girl was 'special'. After we talked her into taking it off she ended up falling and hurting herself. She was mad at us and said, "I wouldn't have hurt myself if I had my helmet on!" Boy, did we sure feel bad. Now we let her wear it anytime she wants. Makayla won this time!
