With the long winter we had here in Indiana these flowers were such a welcoming sight. I was getting groceries out of the car today and Makayla had disappeared from my sight for a second. I started to go into "Mommy panic mode" and as I turned around the corner of the house there was my little darling picking flowers. She had this whole bunch of daffodils in her hands and she said, "Look, Mommy! I picked these flowers for you so your foot doesn't hurt anymore." Needless to say, that was the best medicine ever.
